Maintenance guide
It is not necessary to wash your item before its first use.
We recommend taking it to the dry cleaners for a dry wash (specifying that it is a wool product) once a year under normal conditions of use.
It is therefore essential to show, when you drop it off at the dry cleaners, the white care label (sewn under the red Brun de Vian-Tiran label on one side of the article), so that it is correctly taken in charge.
Regarding regular maintenance, we suggest that you ventilate your bedroom daily (including winter) and, if you can, air your item when you change your bedding. This action will evacuate the natural moisture (your nocturnal perspiration) deposited on the bedding elements during the night and find a healthier blanket or duvet.

A concentrate of creation
La 240' goes back to the essentials of a fabric, raw, wild and timeless. Woven in Merino wool Mérinos d'Arles Antique®, the finest wool in Europe harvested in Provence, this generous fabric is double-sided. Scraped with natural thistles on one side only, it offers two very different and highly designed aspects. Its edges, left raw, add an extra soul to this soft and so singular object.
La 240 has no limit in its setting: as a bed runner, on a large sofa, hanging from a wall or a window... let its daring express itself and play without limits with its possibilities. This blanket is the result of the latest collaboration between Brun de Vian-Tiran and students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieur de Création INdustrielle - Les Ateliers Design Textile. This unique fabric brings together know-how of French excellence, creativity and rare wools.
The transhumance, aesthetic inspiration of 'La 240', gives birth to 6 patterns animated by colors and graphics: Passage, Soleil, Ocre, Ciel, Pin and Orage.
